Komen National Race for the Cure® on June 7, 2008 in Washington, DC. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime and the more money we raise, the more Susan G. Komen for the Cure can give back to fund outreach programs and initiatives that address the specific unmet breast health needs in our own community. Please join me on June 7th or by pledging to support my participation in the Komen National Race for the Cure®. Together we have made tremendous progress toward eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through research, education, screening and treatment. The generosity of our donors is vital as we continue our efforts to help breast cancer patients today, as well as to invest in the health of future generations.
